We are beyond thrilled to introduce Tzippy Moehringer as this year’s Shorashim (2nd–4th grade) Unit Leader! Tzippy’s journey at Camp Mountain Chai (CMC) began in 2011 as a camper, and over the past 13 years, she has grown into a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring leader in our community. From 2011–2018, Tzippy called CMC home as a camper. In the summer of 2020, she remained connected to camp by participating in SIT (Staff-in-Training) Zoom calls, demonstrating her commitment to the CMC community even during uncertain times. She then returned as one of our Omanut (Arts & Crafts) specialists in 2021 and 2022, sharing her creativity and warmth with campers. In 2023, she stepped into a middle-management position as the Shorashim Assistant Unit Leader, further developing her leadership skills and impact on camp. In 2024, she stepped into a summer leadership position as our Shorashim Unit Leader and will be returning this summer to do the same! Tzippy brings an incredible passion for overnight camping, a commitment to building relationships with every camper, and unmatched ruach (spirit) to our CMC family. She creates a nurturing environment where our youngest campers can explore their curiosity, learn what it means to be part of a larger Jewish community, discover how to make lifelong friendships, and fall in love with the magic of CMC. Shorashim campers, get ready for an unforgettable experience! 🏕️
